Provided is a highly versatile center-of-gravity detection system capable of accurately detecting the center of gravity of various detection subjects without being limited by a container freight car. The present invention is provided with a loading plate (10) on which a detection subject (40) is loaded, springs (12) having elastic force for supporting the loading plate (10), an acceleration sensor for detecting reciprocal movement of the detection subject (40) in the vertical direction, an angular velocity sensor for detecting simple pendulum movement of the detection subject (40) about a rolling-direction oscillation axis (16), and an X-axis restricting guide (21) for restricting movement of the loading plate (10) in the X-axis direction, and the height of the center of gravity from the rolling-direction oscillation axis (16) to the detection subject (40)
in the vertical direction is computed by a data processing device (3) on the basis of the detection results of the acceleration sensor (13) and the angular velocity sensor (14).
