Title ROLLOVER LIMIT DETECTION SYSTEM
Abstract

Provided is a rollover limit detection system that makes it possible to determine the risk of rollover of a structure for which the weight or weight distribution is not known in advance, the determination being made on the basis of a rollover limit height calculated by calculating as the rollover limit height the height of a limiting center of gravity at which the structure would roll over. The present invention is provided with: an acceleration sensor (13) for detecting upward and downward reciprocating motion of a loading plate (10), the mounting plate (10), springs (12), and a detection target (40) being configured so that the areas of the mounting plate (10) on both sides of a rocking central shaft (16) are each supported by the springs (12)

and is also provided with a computation unit (31) for calculating as a rollover limit height lmax the height of a limiting center of gravity at which the detection target (40) mounted on the mounting plate (10) would roll over in the direction of rotation at a center-of-gravity position on the mounting plate (10) of the structure, the calculation being made on the basis of the detection result from the acceleration sensor (13) and an angle of incline (alpha) in the direction of rotation about the rocking central shaft (16) of the mounting plate (10) with respect to the horizontal plane when the detection target (40) is at rest.
