Seat light beams (Ls) are formed by a cylindrical lens (22) from divided laser light from a semiconductor laser (12) and cross each other at a predetermined position. A lens system (30) for linearly focusing scattered light at a linear irradiation site (Lx) at which the seat light beams (Ls) cross each other is provided. An optical fiber array (32) of optical fibers (34) is disposed at a focusing position of the lens system (30). An avalanche photodiode (42) for converting the scattered light which is Doppler frequency-shifted by a blood flow into an electrical signal for each of the optical fibers (34) is provided. There are provided a laser Doppler blood flow measuring method and device capable of efficient multidimensional measurement in a wide range with high measurement accuracy for carrying out scanning while computing the blood flow rate in biological tissue at the linear irradiation site (Lx) for each of the optical fibers (34) from the Doppler frequency-shifted scattered light of the laser light and calculating the blood flow rate in a blood vessel in a predetermined region within a biological body.
