Provided are: a die-casting method and die-casting device that make it possible to manufacture thin die-cast articles that were heretofore unrealizable
and a die-cast article. A semi-solidified metal body with a solid-phase grain diameter of less than 30 [mu]m is formed and then injected into a mold. The molten metal is poured into a sleeve part of a die-casting machine, and when a desired solid-phase ratio is reached, pressure is applied to a plunger to inject the molten metal into the mold. The molten metal is poured so as to fill at most 30% of the vertical cross-sectional area of the sleeve. The grain diameter of the fully-solidified material is preserved in the resulting die-cast product.
