The present invention addresses the issues of obtaining a novel network polymer having a rotaxane structure and providing a polymer gel electrolyte which can be used as the electrolyte for a secondary battery such as a lithium-ion secondary battery, and which is both highly safe and has high ionic conductivity. The network polymer according to the present invention is a network polymer having a unit (A) formed by a partial structure represented by formula (II) or (II') below being included so as to be threaded through the annular portion of a partial structure represented by formula (I) below, or, is a network polymer having said unit (A) and a unit (B) which is derived from a radically polymerizable monomer. The molar ratio ((I)/(II)) of the partial structure represented by formula (I) and the partial structure represented by formula (II) is 1/1-10/1. (Unit (A) is formed from the partial structure represented by formula (I) and the partial structure represented by formula (II), excluding cases in which unit (B) is not included.)
