Title NON-HUMAN MODEL ANIMAL, METHOD FOR CREATING NON-HUMAN MODEL ANIMAL, AND METHOD FOR SCREENING ANTITHROMBOGENIC DRUG
Abstract

In the present invention, a non-human model animal obtained by a step for damaging a portion of the endothelium of an artery of a non-human animal that has ingested high-cholesterol food, and a step for continuous dosing of the non-human animal with angiotensin II develops thrombosis caused by plaque erosion. The thrombosis in the non-human model animal is occlusive, occluding the intravascular space. Also, the thrombosis in the non-human model animal exhibits a disease state in which platelet thrombosis and/or fibrin thrombus is formed in the intravascular space.
