発明の概要(英語) Provided is an animal for analyzing type I diabetes, said animal having acquired resistance against type I diabetes, more specifically, said animal having originated from an animal model that is inherently liable to get type I diabetes but yet acquired resistance to the onset of type I diabetes. Also provided is an animal model that exhibits symptoms of polymyositis/ autoimmune myocarditis. A transgenic nonhuman animal that contains an exogenous DNA in the genome, wherein the nonhuman animal is a nonhuman animal model of type I diabetes, the exogenous DNA is a DNA having a promoter region and an Aire protein-encoding region that is positioned in the 3'-terminal side of the promoter region, and Aire protein encoded by the exogenous DNA is expressed in the transgenic nonhuman animal.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
