発明の概要(英語) The present invention provides a method for producing L-cysteine with high efficiency, specifically a method for producing L-cysteine by culturing a bacterium belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae in a culture medium to produce a culture and then collecting L-cysteine from the culture. The method is characterized in that the bacterium belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae is so modified as to overexpress at least one protein containing a sulfur transfer domain, wherein the protein is selected from the group consisting of glp E protein, yee D protein, psp E protein, sse A protein, yce A protein and sir A protein.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Cysteine, cystine include one, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and the like are used in a wide variety of fields. Cysteine is, mainly, a person, animal hair from amino acids contained a lot, these classically produced by hydrolysis of the hair has been. However, the viewpoint of increasing the stability of the product, less impact on the environment and from the viewpoint of, in the same manner as many other amino acids produced by fermentation methods has been desired.
Conventionally, using a bacterium belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae and a method of producing various cysteine by fermentation have been reported (Patent Document 1 and 2). A bacterium belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae, for example E. coli is, cysteine biosynthesis as a path, sulfate as a sulfur source and a route to be used (sulfuric acid path), a route to be used as a sulfur source thiosulfate salt (thiosulfate path) 2 of the two paths exist (non-patent document 1) are known.
However, the cysteine biosynthetic pathway and the portion to be a yet unknown, the presence of one of the other, even in the thiosulfate as a path there is a new route has not been known at all.
