発明の概要(英語) Provided is a power generation element, the vibration of which can be maintained long by suppressing the kinetic energy loss during vibration, and also provided is an actuator using the structure of this power generation element. A reverse magnetostrictive power generation element of the present invention comprises: a first power generation portion consisting of a first magnetostrictive rod formed of a magnetostrictive material, a first coil wound around the first magnetostrictive rod, and a first magnetic rod having a rigidity and shape for applying a uniform compressive or tensile force to the first magnetostrictive rod and disposed in parallel with the first magnetostrictive rod; a frame formed of a magnetic material curved in a U-shape and having one end and the other end positioned on mutually opposite sides of the curved portion, wherein the one end becomes a fixed end and the other end becomes a free end; and a magnet. The first power generation portion is attached to the free end-side frame and the magnet is attached to only any one of the two inner side surfaces of the frame facing each other, thereby allowing a part of the frame to function as a back yoke and forming an air gap between the magnet and the inner side surface on the side to which the magnet is not attached.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
In recent years, a technique familiar vibration used for power generation has advanced the development of, a ferromagnetic body 1 of the techniques is one of the magnetostrictive effect is utilized. Magnetostrictive effect of the ferromagnetic body when applying magnetic fields (when the magnetization of the ferromagnetic material) refers to the effect of deformation, the deformation amount due to the magnetostrictive effect is referred to as a material having a large magnetostrictive material.
