発明の概要(英語) Disclosed is a means for producing thick cell aggregates by a simple process without requiring a procedure of detaching cells and then overlaying the cells on each other. A method for producing three-dimensional cell aggregates according to the present invention comprises: a cell accommodation step of accommodating a cell suspension in a cell accommodation vessel; and a pressure application step of applying a pressure to cells in the vessel. Each of the cell accommodation step and the pressure application step may be repeated several times. According to the method of the present invention, it becomes possible to produce thick and highly tough cell aggregates by a simple procedure of applying a pressure to a cell suspension or a cell-containing medium. In the method, the damage to the cells is extremely small and the cells can be maintained in a good condition, because a procedure of overlaying multiple cell sheets on each other is not necessary, either. Therefore, the cell aggregates are advantageous for use as a tissue graft.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
