Title METHOD FOR CREATING VIRUS-FREE PLANT INDIVIDUAL
Abstract A method for creating a virus-free plant individual, said method comprising: step (1) for growing an rALSV-infected plant individual for 2 to 6 weeks at a temperature which is higher than the optimum temperature thereof and at which rALSV is inactivated; step (2) for, after step (1), growing the rALSV-infected plant individual at the optimum temperature thereof and thus allowing the elongation of an rALSV-absent site from the rALSV-infected plant individual; and step (3) for grafting the rALSV-absent site elongated in step (2) as a scion and growing the same.
Scope of claims [claim1]
1. Rearrangement ALSV (rALSV) to possess the character of the infection plant individual, at the same time, being production method of the ant plant individual being the virus free, process below:
(1) the rALSV infection plant individual, it is higher than the degree of reaching right temperature, at the same time, at the temperature which rALSV inactivates, from 2 weeks 6 weeks the process which is reared;
(2) process (1) after, the degree of reaching right temperature being similar, rearing the rALSV infection plant individual, the process which makes the rALSV non existence region expand from the rALSV infection plant individual;
And
Grafting doing (3) the rALSV non existence region which was made to expand with process (2) as a scion, the process which it rears
The production method of featuring that it includes.

2. Process (1) as for temperature of rearing period, production method of the claim 1 which features that it is the 35°C-42°C.
