Abstract A method that comprises culturing a C1 compound-assimilating bacterium and/or yeast, said bacterium and/or yeast being a methylotroph, using a medium containing a C1 compound and/or glycerol as a carbon source to thereby produce EGT.
Scope of claims [claim1]
1. It cultures C 1 chemical combination goods metaplasia bacterium and/or the yeast, making use of the nutrient medium which includes carbon source, it includes the process which produces [erugochionein], production method of [erugochionein].

2. C 1 chemical combination goods metaplasia bacterium and/or the yeast, as carbon source it cultures methanol and methylamine and/or making use of the nutrient medium which includes the glycerine, it includes the process which produces [erugochionein], in claim 1 production method of [erugochionein] of statement.

3. C 1 chemical combination goods metaplasia bacterium, is the Methylobacterium being attached bacterium, in claim 1 or 2 production method of statement.

4. The yeast, is the Rhodotorula being attached yeast, either of the claim 1-3 in 1 production method of statement.

5. Carbon source in the nutrient medium, is contained at density of the 0.1- 5%, either of the claim 1-4 in 1 production method of statement.

6. In the nutrient medium the ammonium salt, is contained at density of 0.2-2.0 g/L, either of the claim 1-5 in 1 production method of statement.

7. Ammonium chloride or the ammonium dihydrogenphosphate is contained in the nutrient medium as an ammonium salt, either of the claim 1-6 in 1 production method of statement.

8. Process below is included, production method of [erugochionein]:
1) Either of the claim 1-7 in 1 with method of statement C 1 chemical combination goods metaplasia bacterium and/or the process which cultures the yeast;
2) [erugochionein] which the description above heat-treats C 1 chemical combination goods metaplasia bacterium which was cultured and/or the yeast, produces C 1 chemical combination goods metaplasia bacterial germ and/or the process which is extracted from the yeast.

C 1 chemical combination goods metaplasia bacterium, is something which is chosen from the Methylobacterium being attached C 1 chemical combination goods metaplasia bacterium which is deposited respectively as trust number NITE BP-02088, NITE BP-02089, and NITE BP-02090, either of the claim 1-8 in 1 production method of [erugochionein] of statement.

10. The yeast, is something which is chosen from the Rhodotorula being attached yeast which is deposited respectively as trust number NITE BP-02171, and NITE BP-02172, either of the claim 1-9 in 1 production method of [erugochionein] of statement.
