The lesion identification marker for radiation therapy contains a mixture of a calcium phosphate-based bone reinforcing material-containing substance and metal particles. Alternatively, the lesion identification marker for radiation therapy contains a mixture of a calcium phosphate-based bone reinforcing material-containing substance and metal particles having a particle width of 0.5 mm or less, wherein the weight ratio of the metal particles to the calcium phosphate-based bone reinforcing material-containing substance is 1:4 or higher.
