発明の概要(英語) The present invention provides: a diagnostic drug which can detect a disease associated with the increase in the concentration of methylmercaptan in the oral cavity, e.g., periodontal disease, simply and with high sensitivity; a kit including the diagnostic drug; and a diagnosis method using the diagnostic drug. Specifically, the present invention provides: a diagnostic drug for use in a test for a disease associated with the increase in the concentration of methylmercaptan in the oral cavity in a subject, said diagnostic drug comprising a compound represented by formula I [wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represent a substituent such as a hydrogen atom; R5 represents an alkenyl group which may be substituted; and X represents O or S], or an isomer of the compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, a hydrate or a solvate of the compound or the isomer; a kit including the diagnostic drug; and a diagnosis method using the diagnostic drug.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Periodontal disease is caused by an infection of bacteria in the oral cavity and an inflammatory disease, the age of 30% or more in Japan 15, 80% and 40 years of age or older to be suffering from one or more have been reported.Periodontal disease is, initial gingivitis, periodontal flame, the flame of the alveolar bone or if the stage, appropriate care is possible to cure, with the progress of periodontitis of the condition and state, to support the tooth bone is melted, resulting in a lost tooth.Therefore, the inspection for the early detection of periodontal disease is important.However, even if the infected periodontal disease without subjective symptoms, the patient often be severe to one not aware, it is difficult to detect early is also known.For this reason, early periodontal disease diagnostic agents and diagnostic methods for the discovery of development has been performed.
Periodontal disease in a subject's mouth is that methyl metabolism of periodontal plant are known to be generated.Therefore, as a method of diagnosis of periodontal disease, such as breath and saliva sample detected by the color reaction in the presence of methyl mercaptan of the method has been known (Patent Documents 1 and 2).However, in the breath and saliva from the small amount of methyl mercaptan, these conventional color reaction is detected by the detection method, a problem in that the detection sensitivity.Therefore, diseases such as periodontal disease more simple inspection, and the diagnostic agent for the inspection has been demanded.
Also, triazacyclononane pentalene skeleton, known as the conventional fluorescent chromophore group, for example fluorescein and a compact structure and compared, a good fluorophore emits strong fluorescence is known (Patent Document 3).
