Title TRIPTYCENE DERIVATIVE USEFUL AS MATERIAL FOR FORMING SELF-ASSEMBLED FILM, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID TRIPTYCENE DERIVATIVE, FILM USING SAME, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID FILM, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING SAID METHOD
Abstract The present invention pertains to: a Janus-type triptycene derivative which is capable of forming a self-assembled film which does not depend on the material quality of a substrate; a self-assembled film using said Janus-type triptycene derivative; a structure having said film on a surface thereof; a method for manufacturing said film; and an electronic device using said method.
Outline of related art and contending technology BACKGROUND ART
Is a self-assembled monolayer film, chemically bonded or adsorbed on the surface of the solid substrate, the interaction between the molecules by a high orientation as a single layer of molecules (film) being formed. In addition, the self-assembled monolayer is, both the self-assembled monolayer, a self-assembled monolayer is also referred, to herein as a self-assembled monolayer film, or simply referred to as SAM film. SAM film, on a glass substrate formed using the organic silane compound has been reported (see non-patent document 1), in addition, on the gold substrate may be formed using the organic sulfur compound has been reported (see non-patent document 2) from, has been rapidly developed. SAM film, and more stable than LB(Langmuir-Blodgett) film, by a vapor phase reaction can be also formed, its application range is wider and has been increasing. In addition, the film thickness of the SAM (length) the size of the molecule determined by the angle of inclination between the substrate and, at the molecular level about 1 nm of the film can be precisely and easily manufacture. The film thickness, in general, the alkyl chain by one methylene unit of about 1 and 0.2 nm, by adjusting the length of the alkyl chain, a monomolecular film of a desired film thickness can be manufactured accurately. By the formation of the SAM film, modify the properties of the surface of solid substrate can be. For example, an organic field effect transistor (organic FET) is, in many cases is used as an insulating layer is silicon oxide, silicon oxide on the surface of the organic silane such as octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) compound to form a film with SAM by, by the water-repellent surfaces, the crystalline of the semiconductor (organic) adjacent to improve the charge mobility is can be improved. In this way, the solid substrate to form a film with the surface of the SAM by, hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity of the surface of the solid substrate can be controlled.
In addition, molecules SAM functional film is formed by attaching functional groups, the surface of the solid substrate may be provided on a particular function. For example, electron transfer, oxidation-reduction reaction, catalytic action, photo-induced electron transfer, electrochemical luminescent, ion, molecule recognition, biosensors, bio-molecular device, solar power generation, various functions such as SAM film applied to the surface of solid substrate by the formation of possible, these fields are expected to be used in. For example, to the sugar or an aldehyde moiety, to immobilize the compound having a carboxyl group to an end group having an amino group SAM compound material (see Patent Document 1) of formation of the film, the electron accepting group such as a terminal group of a cyanoaryl compound etc. as a material having a functional group and the formation of the film (see Patent Document 2) SAM, having a terminal group of a compound such as polyphenylene ultraviolet resistant material (see Patent Document 3) to form a SAM, bis (adamantylmethyl) disulfide having the film structure of the surface of the rigid adamantane using SAM (see Patent Document 4) of formation of the film, of the alkylene chains in the middle of a relatively longer wavelength light exposed to introduce a functional group, the long-wavelength light for lithography patterned SAM is possible (see Patent Document 5) of formation of the film, a pyrrole ring expanded porphyrin covalently bonded to the fullerene compound is used as the solar cell and the charge separation for the elements of the light (see Patent Document 6) formed SAM film and the like have been reported.
On the other hand, a triptycene derivative is used as a material for forming the film SAM registration, et al. report is not, an organic EL material from a polymer or copolymer of a triptycene (see Patent Document 7), birds petit sen diamine as a raw material of polyimide resin or polyamide resin (see Patent Document 8) a method for manufacturing, further linked to a triptycene 'include ipuchisen' (iptycenes) collectively referred to as compound in which the liquid crystal polymer composition (see Patent Document 9), as well as to birds petit st. rear min obtained by the reaction of polyamide, a polyimide resin obtained was heated, using the same optical components (see Patent Document 10), the material of the nanofilms macrocyclic module as a component of a triptycene rings (see Patent Document 11), a triptycene derivative to the optical resolution method using enzymes (see Patent Document 12), triple bond or a double bond as a polymerization unit having a plurality of a triptycene derivative an insulating film containing a polymer that is polymerized (see Patent Document 13) and an electronic device, at least one acid dissociable dissolution inhibiting group 1 having a triptycene derivative for a photoresist (see Patent Document 14), a compound comprising a triptycene - 1, 4 - diyl group using the liquid crystal polymer composition and the like (see Patent Document 15) have been reported. In addition, two 1, two 2, two 5, or long-chain alkoxy group of 6 substituted triptycene derivatives are regularly aligned smectic liquid crystal to form have been reported (see non-patent document 3) is, in the same direction in which one substituent of 3 can be aligned in a regularly and have been disclosed a, as SAM may be suitable for the film-forming material is not disclosed.
The inventors of the present invention, one and the same 3 substituent aligned regularly in the same direction (Janus triptycene derivative) is a triptycene derivative, these substituent groups are the same and integrated in the direction of the film found to form, in this way a self-organizing film is formed and, by processing the solution in which, and a self-assembled monolayer film can have been reported (see Patent Document 16).
