Abstract This hydrogen gas production device is provided with a porous material (100) and a mixed gas source (300). The porous material (100) is hydrogen gas- and carbon dioxide gas-permeable, and has properties causing hydrogen gas to more readily permeate than carbon dioxide gas. The mixed gas source (300) causes a mixed gas including the carbon dioxide gas and the hydrogen gas to flow into the porous material (100) under conditions in which a pressure gradient represented by (P1-P2)/L is below 50 MPa/m, where the length of the porous material (100) in the direction in which the mixed gas permeates is expressed as L, the inflow pressure of the mixed gas into the porous material (100) is expressed as P1, and the outflow pressure from the porous material (100) is expressed as P2.
Outline of related art and contending technology BACKGROUND ART
Currently used most of the hydrogen gas, steam reforming of natural gas obtained via the present invention. Is the steam reforming of natural gas, the following chemical represented by the reaction formula. Cm Hn +2mH2 O→H (2m + n/2)2 +mCO2
After the steam reforming reaction, shown in the right side of the mixed gas from the hydrogen gas necessary to take out the concentrated. Concentration of this hydrogen gas for example, by passing the mixed gas in the porous body has been known a method. This approach, the carbon dioxide gas passes through the porous body than that of hydrogen gas would be difficult to use with the present invention.
