発明の概要(英語) This chlorophyll fluorescence measuring device 1 is provided with: first and second measuring units 4 and 5 which receive sunlight H1 and acquire the irradiance of the sunlight H1 in a first wavelength band B1 and a second wavelength band B2 respectively; third and fourth measuring units 6 and 7 which receive, from a plant P, light H2 containing chlorophyll fluorescence, and acquire the irradiance of the light H2 from the plant P in the first wavelength band B1 and the second wavelength band B2 respectively; and a calculating unit 8 which calculates a fifth irradiance FS, which is the irradiance of the chlorophyll fluorescence, on the basis of each irradiance. The first wavelength band B1 is a wavelength band including a wavelength corresponding to a certain Fraunhofer line, and is a wavelength band included in the chlorophyll fluorescence wavelength region, and the second wavelength band B2 is a wavelength band contained within a region extending a specific wavelength region from the first wavelength band B1.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Conventional, the chlorophyl photosynthesis in plants (chlorophyl) as a method to estimate the amount, by the use of chlorophyll fluorescence emitted from the plant has been known. In general, a plant, only about 20-80% of the solar energy is not available in the photosynthesis. Plants, solar energy was not available for the photosynthesis that part of the chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF: radiate as Sun-Induced Fluorescence). The chlorophyll fluorescence, photosynthetic plants contains information on the amount, used to estimate the amount of photosynthesis. For example, to Patent Document 1, estimated from the intensity of chlorophyll fluorescence based on the amount of photosynthesis of plants, methods for diagnosing the health of the plant have been described.
Photosynthesis using chlorophyll fluorescence is to estimate the amount of, the leaves and are not limited to the group of small-scale plants, a large-scale level of the biological system to apply to the breeder. Therefore, the above-described method, for example by observing the amount of photosynthesis of ecosystem as a greenhouse gas CO2 to accurately grasp the amount of water absorbed, climate change and to improve the accuracy of the prediction of expected.
