発明の概要(英語) A cancer invasion depth diagnosis system is provided with an endoscope, a micro-tomographic probe for acquiring an optical interference signal by emitting low-coherence light onto a tissue of interest where a tumor of interest is located, the micro-tomographic probe being inserted into the body together with the endoscope, and a determination unit for acquiring a tomographic image of the tissue of interest including the tumor of interest and blood flow velocity information in the blood vessels within the tomographic image, on the basis of the optical interference signal. The determination unit determines the invasion depth of the tumor of interest on the basis of the tomographic image and blood flow velocity information.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Generated in the gastrointestinal tract cancer, early stage cancer may be less risk of metastases in the art will appreciate, some of which are capable of ablation of the endoscope. On the other hand, when the advanced cancer, and increases the risk of metastases, basically a surgical resection. Therefore, the gastrointestinal tract in order to properly treat a cancer, early cancer or cancer progression can be important to determine accurately, so that the depth of tumor invasion (degree of the increase in the thickness direction of the tissue) to correctly evaluate becomes a key.
Gastrointestinal tract to evaluate the degree of reaching depth of the cancer, NBI (Narrow-Band Imaging) method using the image obtained by the method has been known (see for example Patent Document 1). In this method, NBI method the acquired image (NBI image) based on the, specific to the cancer tumor neovascularization of the tumor by evaluating the travel state of the evaluation of the invasion depth.
