発明の概要(英語) Provided is a device for gaze detection and facilitation of face-to-face interactions. The face-to-face interaction device has: a first infrared transmission unit for transmitting, at a first beam divergence angle, an infrared signal having a first wavelength; a first infrared reception unit for receiving infrared signals having the first wavelength from another device; a notification means for notifying detection of a face-to-face state; and a control unit which, upon determining whether or not identification information of the other device and identification information of the host device are included in the received infrared signal, turns on the notification means when the identification information of the other device and the identification information of the host device are included therein.
