発明の概要(英語) Provided is a sulfide solid electrolyte material that does not contain Ge, and is provided with both excellent electrochemical stability and high lithium ion conductivity. The sulfide solid electrolyte contains a sulfide-based solid electrolyte represented by compositional formula Li4–4z–x[SnySi1–y]1+z–xPxS4, where 0.5 ≤ x ≤ 0.6, y = 0.2, and 0 ≥ z ≥ –0.2, and has a peak at a position 2θ = 29.58°±0.50° with X-ray diffraction measurement using CuKα rays, and does not have a peak at a position 2θ = 27.33°±0.50° with X-ray diffraction measurement using CuKα rays, or, in a case having a peak at the abovementioned position 2θ = 27.33°±0.50°, when the diffracted intensity of the peak of the abovementioned 2θ = 29.58°±0.50° is IA, and the diffracted intensity of the peak of the abovementioned 2θ = 27.33°±0.50° is IB, the value of IB/IA is less than 0.50.

The personal computer in recent years, such as a mobile phone or a video camera and related equipment information with the rapid popularization of communication device or the like, the development of batteries are used as power sources thereof has been regarded as important. All solid state lithium battery used as the solid electrolyte material, a sulfide solid electrolyte material is known. For example, in Non-Patent Document 1, Li(4-x) Ge(1-x) Px S4 Li ion conductor having a composition of (a sulfide solid electrolyte material) is disclosed. In addition, in Patent Document 1, a particular X-ray diffraction measurement in a high proportion of the crystal phase having a peak of the LiGePS-based sulfide solid electrolyte material is disclosed. Further, in the non-patent document 2, the sulfide solid electrolyte material of the LiGePS system has been disclosed.
