発明の概要(英語) [Problem] To provide a compound having excellent antibacterial properties and a compound having an excellent ability to enhance antibacterial properties of another antibacterial agent. [Solution] A sugar derivative having an antibacterial function which is represented by chemical formula (1) or (2), wherein monosaccharides are bonded via glycoside bonds in a chain or cyclic manner, or a salt thereof. In the formulae, R1 represents an amino group-containing structure and n represents an integer of 3 or greater. A sugar derivative having an antibacterial activity-enhancing function which is represented by chemical formula (5) or (6), wherein monosaccharides are bonded via glycoside bonds in a chain or cyclic manner, or a salt thereof. In the formulae, R3 represents an amino group-containing structure, R4 represents an acetyl group or a propanoyl group, and n represents an integer of 3 or greater.

1. The chemical formula of the following (1) or (2) NVSEDATA, monosaccharide glycosidically bond which is connected to a chain or cyclic sugar derivative or a salt thereof is anti-microbial effect. Here, R1is structure containing an amino group. And a primary hydroxyl group is one of the monosaccharides, R1bound substituted triazole. Propanoyl group, a hydrogen atom of a secondary hydroxyl group of the monosaccharides are replaced. N is an integer of 3 or more.

2. The chemical formula of the following (3) or (4) NVSEDATA, monosaccharide glycosidically bond which is connected to a chain or cyclic sugar derivative or a salt thereof is anti-microbial effect. Here, R2is an alkylene group. And a primary hydroxyl group and one of the monosaccharides, R2NH2bound substituted triazole. Propanoyl group, a hydrogen atom of a secondary hydroxyl group of the monosaccharides are replaced. N is an integer of 3 or more.

Here, R3is structure containing an amino group. And a primary hydroxyl group and one of the monosaccharides, R3bound substituted triazole. R4acetyl or propanoyl group, and a primary hydroxyl group of the second of the monosaccharides are substituted for a hydrogen atom. N is an integer of 3 or more.
