発明の概要(英語) The compound according to one embodiment of the invention has a hexaaryl bisimidazole structure and has at least one functional group with a hydrophilic group on at least one aromatic ring that is bound to an imidazole ring of the hexaaryl bisimidazole structure. The composition, photochromic material or interfacial property-controlling agent according to the other embodiments of the invention comprises the compound according to the one embodiment of the invention.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART

Hexaarylbisimidazole as a compound having a structure of a conventional, for example, those described in Patent Document 1 or 2 has been known. Patent Document 1 is, as the photochromic compound, a compound represented by the following general formula (1) are described.
(In the above (1) formula, RA, RB is, straight or branched chain having a carbon number of 1-20 linear or branched, alkyl group, an alkylamino group having a carbon number 2-20 straight chain or branched alkoxy group, k, l, m, n are independent of each other an integer of 1-5)
In addition, in Patent Document 2, as a photopolymerization initiator, a compound having a structure described in the hexaarylbisimidazole respectively.
