発明の概要(英語) The present invention addresses the problem of providing an edge-induced illusion generation device, an edge-induced illusion generation method, an edge-induced illusion generation program, a printing medium, a recording medium, etc., that can be applied to a given image, is able to automatically generate an edge-induced illusion without requiring complicated tasks, and enables achieving contrast improvement by taking advantage of an edge-induced illusion. The present invention is characterized by generating an edge-induced illusion image by applying, to image data, a two-dimensional digital filter which is a non-oriented filter or an oriented coupled filer, and which is at the same time a filter capable of transmitting a band of relatively high frequencies or a high-frequency pass filter, or an orientation selective wavelet frame or an orientation selective filter bank that is an assembly made up of a non-oriented approximate filter and a plurality of oriented precision filters, so as to extract a band component of relatively high frequencies or a high frequency component and/or to apply color to an edge of the extracted band component or high frequency component.

1. The storage unit and the control unit provided with at least one edge to an optical illusion generated due to the device, the storage unit may store, orientation of the filter or not filter having certain orientation, and, the filter passing a band of a relatively high frequency or high-pass filter, or, not orientation dependence of approximation filter and each of the plurality of detail has been directed to an orientation of the set of filter wavelet selectivity in azimuth, the azimuth selective filter frame or, in the bank, the two-dimensional digital filter is stored in the storage means and a filter, and the image data storage means for storing the image data, and, wherein the control unit, with respect to the image data, the two-dimensional digital filter is applied, the relatively high-frequency band component or high-frequency component is taken out, and/or, with respect to the image data, the two-dimensional digital filter is applied, the relatively high-frequency band component or high-frequency component is extracted from the, said extracted band component or high-frequency component by applying a colored edge, to generate an image to an optical illusion due edge, characterized in that, due to an optical illusion edge generation device.
