The power generation device satisfies at least one of the following conditions (1) to (3). (1) The moisture content is higher when power is being generated than when power is not being generated. (2) Power is generated by a liquid being supplied. (3) The moisture content is no higher than 10 mass% of the total of the fuel, anode, and cathode.
