発明の概要(英語) To provide a medical endoscope which allows a physician to easily notice a change in body internal gas pressure during surgery. A pressure sensor (10) for detecting the pressure of a gas supplied to an internal body part being operated on is provided within the image field of vision of a camera in a medical endoscope, and the pressure sensor (10) converts a gas pressure inside a body to five sense information. Specifically, a circular-shaped hood (5) is attached to a distal end portion of a lens barrel (2), and the pressure sensor (10) is attached to the inner wall surface of the hood (5). The pressure sensor (10) can convert the gas pressure inside the body into colors, and, due to these colors entering the image field of vision, a physician can intuitively judge a pressure change within the operating field of vision on a monitor. Due thereto, even if the physician is concentrating on operating, it is easy to monitor pressure changes. Further, since wiring for the pressure sensor (10) is unnecessary, the external diameter of an electronic scope can be made smaller.

8. Claims 1-4 transmitted from the pressure sensor to an electrical signal and visual information, the electric signal is converted into one of five senses of a person i can feel information characterized in that the control unit comprises a pressure measuring device.
