Abstract A benzoic acid derivative and a dehydration-condensation agent, each of which is represented by formula (I) or (II). In formulae (I) and (II), R1 represents a haloalkyl group, a halogen atom or a cyano group; and R2, R3 and R4 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a haloalkyl group, a halogen atom or a cyano group. In formula (I), two R1's, two R2's, two R3's or two R4's may be the same as or different from each other.
Scope of claims [claim1]
1. (I) the following formula (II) represented by the following formula or a benzoic acid derivative.
Formula (I) and formula (II) in, R1is, haloalkyl group, a halogen atom, or a cyano group, R2, R3, and R4is, each independently, a hydrogen atom, haloalkyl group, a halogen atom, or a cyano group. R 2 in the formula (I) one1, 2two R2, 2R of3, 2 and two R4is, the same as each other may be the same or different.

2. (I) the above-mentioned formula (II) in the formula, R1fluorine atom or a trifluoromethyl group, R2, R3, and R4according to claim 1 benzoic acid derivative is a hydrogen atom.
