発明の概要(英語) Provided are a method and a reagent for improving the activity of PETase. In this method, when making the PETase of (a) or (b) act on PET to decompose the PET, a surfactant is added to improve the activity of the PETase: (a) an aromatic polyester-degrading enzyme containing an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2 or 4 in the sequence listing; or (b) an aromatic polyester-degrading enzyme containing an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2 or 4 in the sequence listing are deleted, substituted, or added, and having an aromatic polyester-degrading activity.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
PET resin, high transparency and excellent strength, such as bottles has been widely used.However, because it is stable because there is no degradation of the natural world, the problem occurred due to dust.Hence, recycling is performed so that, at the present time has been performed widely because a chemical recycling.
Typically by chemical hydrolysis of the recycling is, the PET 150 °C.-250 ° C. and excess water to the catalyst at elevated temperatures in ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid (TPA) processing (EG) are polymerized in solution.Hydrolysis catalyst such as sulfuric acid, or a base such as sodium hydroxide is used.However, the chemical recycling is, the problem of the waste liquid treatment.
These PET without imposing a load on the environment used in the aim of processing, carries out the search of the degrading bacteria PET, PET to completely decompose the carbon dioxide and water to the separation of the strain (strain No.201-F6) was successful and reported (see Patent Document 1), further the strain from the strain No.201-F6, and isolated PETase (Patent Document 2 and Non-Patent Document 1 referred to).
