発明の概要(英語) Provided is a transmission device of a single carrier frequency domain equalization scheme having a circuit for inserting a cyclic prefix (CP) and an overlap margin (OM), and a time domain windowing process circuit to which is input transmission symbols in which the CP and OM have been inserted. The time domain windowing process circuit multiplies an arbitrarily-defined time domain window function and suppresses out-of-band radiation power. In the time domain windowing process circuit, the window transition length of the time domain window function is at least the length of the CP.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Currently, the mobile communication system as LTE-Advanced LTE(Long Term Evolution) and become the mainstream products is, the waveform of the downlink signals to the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM: Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) method, the uplink signal of the waveform of the single carrier frequency domain equalization (Single Carrier Frequency-domain Equalization: SC-FDE) scheme has been used.The fifth generation mobile communication system (5 g system) is, in a further improvement of frequency utilization efficiency has been required, in order to realize a new signal waveform, the waveform shaping technology in the conventional method based on a research and development has been promoted.
However, the conventional waveform shaping technology is mainly based on the downlink of the OFDM system as is discussed, the uplink SC-FDE system of a small discussion.SC-FDE method is compared with the OFDM system the peak to average power ratio (Peak-to-Average Power Ratio; PAPR) is low and has a characteristic that, the transmitter power amplifier can be implemented for reduced back-off margin, the terminal side of the transmission waveform is very effective.On the other hand, SC-FDE scheme (Out-of-band emission of-band radiation power; OOBE) is high, in terms of frequency utilization efficiency has been a problem in that the suppression of the OOBE.
Out-of-band radiation power in a low-pass filter (LPF) to suppress effective.However for example in LTE band 0.25MHz on both sides of the guard bandwidth is not left only on the order of at most.Within the guard band of the narrow-band radiation power is sufficient to implement the LPF to suppress the large calculation amount is required to scale.
The present inventors, without using the LPF (A) with respect to the OFDM signal transmission apparatus, a universal time axis from the window-type orthogonal frequency division multiplex (Universal time-domain windowed OFDM; UTW-OFDM) method (see Patent Document 1) has been proposed.
