Abstract The present invention provides a highly heat-resistant composite oxide catalyst for exhaust gas cleaning, which is represented by formula (I): M/M1M21-xTixO3-d (In the formula, M denotes at least one type of noble metal selected from the group consisting of Pd, Rh and Pt. M1 denotes Ca, Sr or Ba. M2 denotes Fe, Mn, Co, Ni or Cu. x is 0.4-1.0. d is 0-0.5. M1M21-xTixO3-d is a perovskite type metal composite oxide carrier.).
Outline of related art and contending technology BACKGROUND ART
Currently used as a catalyst for automobile exhaust gas purification is, mainly a noble metal such as Pd or Rh is one. Pd rich conditions (oxygen lean condition) of high oxidation activity, very high Rh NOx reduction activity is known. For automobile exhaust gas purification catalyst as a noble metal species is high activity, the element is essential to the vehicle. However, one of these noble metals from the rare earth element is, the problem of severe price. In recent years, a reduction in the amount of precious metal and a noble metal element and has been actively carried out regarding the alternative, the transition metal is selected to a reduction in the cu NO activity is revealed. In particular, hydrocarbon (HC) is used as a reducing agent in the NOx selective reduction, cu2+ ion-exchange zeolite catalyst effective ZSM-5 is famous. In addition, the metal as a catalyst support, Al2 O3 is the most commonly used and, the present inventor has cu/Al2 O3 for automobile exhaust gas catalyst also reported to be effective. However, a catalyst containing cu NO cleaning efficiency is very low at low temperature, the cold exhaust gas purification is not suitable for the problems.
For automobile exhaust gas purification catalyst is further, the temperature of exhaust gas and the decrease in catalytic activity when the contact is not required. However, Al2 O3 or zeolite catalyst carrier such as a poor heat resistance, a reduction in the amount of precious metal and the catalyst support is an alternative to the new high heat resistance has been desired.

MがPdである、請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化用高耐熱性複合酸化物触媒。

[請求項3]
M 1がSr又はBaである、請求項1又は2に記載の排ガス浄化用高耐熱性複合酸化物触媒。

[請求項4]
M 2がFe、Mn又はCoである、請求項1又は2又は3に記載の排ガス浄化用高耐熱性複合酸化物触媒。

[請求項5]
xが0.6~1.0である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の排ガス浄化用高耐熱性複合酸化物触媒。

[請求項6]
xが0.7~1.0である、請求項5に記載の排ガス浄化用高耐熱性複合酸化物触媒。

[請求項7]
貴金属MがM 1M 2 1-xTi xO 3-d (MはPd、Rh及びPtからなる群から選ばれる貴金属を示す。M 1は、Ca、Sr又はBaを示す。M 2は、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni又はCuを示す。xは0.4~1.0である。dは0~0.5である。)で表わされる担体に対し質量で0.1~2%含まれる、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の排ガス浄化用高耐熱性複合酸化物触媒。

[請求項8]
溶媒中にM 1化合物、Ti化合物、必要に応じてさらにM 2化合物を溶解もしくは懸濁し、加熱して下記式(II)
M 1M 2 1-xTi xO 3-d   (II)
(式中、M 1は、Ca、Sr又はBaを示す。M 2は、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni又はCuを示す。xは0.4~1.0である。dは0~0.5である。)
で表わされるペロブスカイト型金属複合酸化物を調製し、得られた複合酸化物をPd化合物、Pt化合物及びRh化合物からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む溶液に接触し、焼成する工程を含む、下記式(I)
