発明の概要(英語) The objective of the present invention is to identify objectively and quantitatively a time filter related to vision, non-invasively employing an oculomotor reflex. In the present invention, an initial image having a uniformly constant brightness, a first stimulation pattern image having a mean brightness the same as the initial image, and a second stimulation pattern image which induces apparent movement together with the first stimulation pattern image, are presented sequentially, while eye movement is measured during a fixed period while the second stimulation pattern image is being presented and is stored in association with the duration for which the first stimulating pattern image used during the measurement was presented. At this time, a setting of the duration for which the first stimulating pattern image used in each trial is presented is changed. Parameter values of an oculomotor reflex kinetic energy model are optimized in order to minimize the difference between a measured waveform specified in accordance with changes in a sight line direction, calculated for each presentation duration, and a simulation result calculated by inputting the first stimulating pattern image and the second stimulating pattern image into the kinetic energy model, and a time filter unique to an inspection target is calculated.
