発明の概要(英語) A device 1 in an embodiment of the present invention includes an optical system employing optical coherence tomography (OCT), and performs tomographic visualization of the viscoelasticity of tissue in a target S. This device is provided with: an optical mechanism 8 for guiding and scanning light from a light source 2 into the tissue of the target S; a loading device 13 for imparting deformation energy to the tissue; a control and computing unit 14 which controls the drive of the loading device 13 and the optical mechanism 8, and, by processing an optical interference signal resulting from the optical system by means of the drive of the loading device 13 and the optical mechanism 8, computes a tomographic distribution of the viscoelasticity of the tissue; and a display device 16 which effects a display in such a way that the viscoelasticity of the tissue can be visualized in a tomographic manner. The loading device 13 is a non-contact loading device which loads the tissue with acoustic radiation pressure by outputting ultrasonic waves toward a focal point set inside the target S.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
In recent years, medical diagnostic techniques to further development of the optical coherence tomography imaging (Optical Coherence Tomography: hereinafter referred to as' OCT ') clinical applications has been promoted.OCT is, the tomographic image using a low-coherence interference methods and, at high spatial resolution of the micro-scale biological tissue can be visualized in the form of distribution.In addition, the video rate three-dimensional OCT acquisition rate of 2 or more, has a high time resolution.
Therefore, the inventors of the invention, the dynamics of the biological tissue using OCT tomographic visualization technique (Patent Document 1) are proposed.Cartilage or living tissue of the skin or the like is the amount of the substrate than the change of the tissue appears in a change in the dynamic characteristics, within a tissue micro biomechanics quantitative evaluation of the diagnostic techniques is considered to contribute to the improvement of the present invention.In the method, the characteristics of the biological tissue (viscoelastic) can be evaluated in order to develop such OCT system of the present invention.
