発明の概要(英語) A particle trapping device according to the present invention is characterized by being provided with an inlet flow passage, a flat flow passage arranged on the downstream side of the inlet passage, a rectangular flow passage arranged on the downstream side of the flat flow passage, and a particle trapping opening arranged on at least a first inner wall surface of the rectangular flow passage. In the particle trapping device, the inlet flow passage has a larger flow passage cross section than that of the flat flow passage; the flat flow passage has a flat flow passage cross section having a large width; the rectangular flow passage has a rectangular flow passage cross section and is configured in such a manner that the first inner wall surface and a second inner wall surface can face each other and a third inner wall surface and a fourth inner wall surface can face each other; and the inlet flow passage, the flat flow passage, the rectangular flow passage and the particle trapping opening are arranged in such a manner that a portion of a liquid which contains particles of interest and flowing in the inlet flow passage can flows into the flat flow passage, the particles of interest flowing in the flat flow passage can flow into the rectangular flow passage together with the liquid, and the particles of interest flowing in the rectangular flow passage can enter the inside of the particle trapping opening and can be trapped there.
