発明の概要(英語) This palladium extraction agent, which comprises an alkyl-sulfide-group-comprising disubstituted aromatic compound represented by general formula (I) as an active ingredient, can be used to selectively extract only palladium from a solution in which a mixture of platinum, rhodium, base metals, etc., is present, will not oxidize even after extended contact with acidic solutions, and can be used to extract palladium in a short length of time. (In the formula, R represents an optionally branched hydrocarbon group comprising 1–12 carbon atoms, an alicyclic hydrocarbon group comprising 5–7 carbon atoms, or an aromatic hydrocarbon group comprising 7 or 8 carbon atoms.)
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Palladium, platinum, rhodium platinum group metal type 3 a number of automobile exhaust gas catalyst used. Spread worldwide strengthening and regulatory emission regulations, therefore there is an increasing need of these metals, these metals are difficult to ensure stability of the resource. In particular, palladium and platinum is chemically similar in nature is difficult to be separated from. Moreover, under a strong instability of the extraction for an extraction condition would not be a significant problem and solution, the development of new extraction is demanded.
And purification steps of the separation of the platinum group metal, electrolytic deposition method, ion-exchange method, precipitation method has been proposed that is, selectivity, from the viewpoint of economy and operability, a solvent extraction method has been widely adopted. Used in this application has been developed a variety of extraction has been used.
The current, known palladium is used as an extraction agent (DAS) and dialkylsulfides (for example, Patent Document 1, 2), an aqueous ammonia solution can be easily extracted by an inverse characteristic.
