発明の概要(英語) Provided are a new type of crystal laminate of an alkaline earth metal titanate having improved catalytic activity, and a method for the production thereof. This crystal laminate comprises alkaline earth metal titanate crystals as constituent units and is characterised in that the crystals serving as constituent units are cubic, tetragonal or orthorhombic, have a primary particle size of no more than 500nm, and are layered with an orientation in the direction of the {100} planes of said crystals.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Strontium titanate, barium titanate or the like of the alkaline earth metal titanate, have high catalyst activity and the dielectric properties of the light, light for water decomposition, ceramic capacitor, piezoelectric element and the like are used. However, the nanoparticles of the metals titanium, randomly tends to agglomerate, which is caused by the drop in surface area that, due to the mismatching of the interface, light catalytic activity, the light energy conversion efficiency is a problem.

Further, the inventors of the present invention, typified by titanium oxide of the metal oxide easily to obtain a crystalline material that has been found that, the metal oxide precursor, ammonia and water, or a metal oxide precursor, ammonia, an aqueous solution containing a surfactant and water by baking, the metal oxides larger in size and specific surface area of the obtained crystal was found to be mesoporous (Patent Document 1, 2). 2 The composite oxide containing one or more metal species can be obtained crystals of mesoporosity (Patent Document 2) has been found.
