発明の概要(英語) Provided is an iron oxide which includes at least one element selected from the group consisting of aluminum, zirconium, ruthenium, titanium, and hafnium, and which has a tube-like or rod-like shape and an elemental ratio of the element in atom% of 25% or more (where the total atom% of the main elements excluding oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen is 100). Also provided is a pigment which comprises the iron oxide.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Pigment, or coloring for a clay coating and resin, such as cosmetic has been widely used in industry. Or orange-based pigment is warm, and the organic compound and inorganic compound are also known. For the organic pigment is organic as a main component, having high heat resistance and cannot be used for the step. On the other hand, in the inorganic pigment, pigment yellow or orange system are many including cadmium, they are detrimental, and high temperature firing may be decomposed under the problem.
Therefore, the safety and excellent in heat resistance, as a bright orange color tone has been demanded the development of inorganic pigments. Orange-based pigments such as reported in Patent Document 1 and 2 respectively.
In Patent Document 1, the surfaces of particles of iron hydroxide particle powder containing the organic red pigment orange-based pigment adhered is reported.
