発明の概要(英語) The purpose of the present invention is to achieve both a reduction in raw material cost and highly efficient production of lipids in the production of lipids such as fats and oils by microorganisms of the genus Aurantiochytrium. The method for producing lipids in one embodiment of the present invention is a two-step fermentation method that includes: a step for the fermentative production, by acetic-acid-producing bacteria, of acetic acid from by-product gas including carbon dioxide; and a step for the fermentative production, by microorganisms of the genus Aurantiochytrium, of lipids from the acetic acid fermentatively produced in the previous step.
