発明の概要(英語) This lyotropic liquid crystal material contains: a cellulose derivative which has a molecular structure represented by formula (1A) and which satisfies the inequality 0.01 ≤ [number of groups having unsaturated double bonds represented by R11, R12 and R13 / (3*n11)] ≤ 1.0; and a monomer having an unsaturated double bond-containing group in the molecule. In formula (1A): X11, X12 and X13 each independently denote a single bond, an alkylene group, -(R14-O)h- or -C(=O)-R15-; R11, R12 and R13 each independently denote a hydrogen atom, a group having an unsaturated double bond or a hydrophobic group; R14 and R15 each independently denote an alkylene group; h denotes an integer between 1 and 10; and n11 denotes an integer between 2 and 800.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
The liquid crystal material, as well as the display material of the liquid crystal display, using the optical characteristics in recent years, has been pursued to adapt to the photonic device. As the liquid crystal material, for example, cellulose derivatives are known.
A cellulose derivative as the liquid crystal property, the hydrogen atom of the hydroxyl group of cellulose, carbamate (urethane) having a cellulose derivative substituent has been introduced has been disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 1).
Further, (A) and the solvent, the solvent in the liquid crystal can be formed (A) (B) and cellulose derivatives, a mixture of a tetraalkoxysilane (C) a step of obtaining a mixture (I), and metal halides (B) of the cellulose derivative liquid crystal, and condensation products of tetraalkoxysilane (C) a step of obtaining a composite material (II), acid (E) by the processing of, the liquid crystal in the composite material (III) having the step of removing oxides, silica based chiral structure has been disclosed a method of manufacturing (for example, see Patent Document 2).
