Abstract Provided is a method for preparing a coupled body represented by general formula (3), the coupled body being obtained by reacting a compound represented by general formula (1) and a compound represented by general formula (2) in the presence of an alcohol solvent, an inorganic base, and a palladium catalyst, the alcohol solvent having a site in which two adjacent carbon atoms each have a hydroxyl group. Ar1-X ··· (1) Ar2-Si(OR)3 ··· (2) Ar1-Ar2 ··· (3) [In the formulae, Ar1 represents an aryl group, etc., which may be substituted; X represents a leaving group such as a bromine atom; Ar2 represents an aryl group, etc., which may be substituted; and R represents an alkyl group having 1-5 carbon atoms.]
Outline of related art and contending technology BACKGROUND ART
An organic compound having a leaving group of the organosilicon compounds and the coupling reaction, the reaction is generally referred to as hiyama (see Non-Patent Document 1). Hiyama reaction, and stable and nontoxic organic silicon compound is used, the liquid crystal material useful in the synthesis of drugs or the like (biaryl compounds and the like) of the coupling body can be obtained, also known as a useful reaction.
Scope of claims (In Japanese)[請求項1]
 隣接した2つの炭素原子がそれぞれ水酸基を有する部位を含むアルコール溶媒、無機塩基及びパラジウム触媒の存在下、下記一般式(1)で表される化合物と下記一般式(2)で表される化合物とを反応させて、下記一般式(3)で表されるカップリング体を得る、カップリング体の製造方法。
