発明の概要(英語) [Problem] To provide a method for producing hydrogen, whereby it becomes possible to prevent the decrease in the amount of generated hydrogen and to increase the total volume of the generated hydrogen.
[Solution] The method for producing hydrogen according to the present invention comprises mixing a solid material 22 to be ground, which is an inorganic substance, with a solvent 23 in a vessel 12 having a grinding medium 21 placed therein to cause a mechanochemical reaction between them, thereby producing hydrogen. The vessel 12 and/or the grinding medium 21 contains a counterpart inorganic substance which can cause an oxidation reaction and a reduction reaction as the result of the mechanochemical reaction in the co-presence of the solid material 22.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Simple and inexpensive method for producing hydrogen, the hydrogen to a mechanochemical reaction to a method of manufacturing have been developed. For example, in Patent Document 1, silicon, aluminum powder and an inorganic substance such as water, a mixture of sodium hydroxide in a solvent such as, mechanical energy is applied in a planetary ball mill, thereby increasing the activity of the solvent and an inorganic material. As a result, the mechanochemical reaction occurs, hydrogen is produced at room temperature.
