A three-dimensional model generation method (M1) is a method of generating a three-dimensional model (synthetic three-dimensional model) of a joint that includes a first bone (humerus b1), a first articular cartilage (n1), a second bone (radius b2), and a second articular cartilage (n2), and generates an MRI three-dimensional model (synthetic three-dimensional model) of the first bone and the first articular cartilage n1 using a first image data set (CT image data set) in which the first bone is imaged and a second image data set (MRI image data set) in which the first articular cartilage and the second articular cartilage are imaged spaced apart from each other.
