Detail of Search Formula†
AND function
When ‘clone culture’ is inputted, the data that include both of ‘clone’ and ‘culture’ are searched.
In place of space, both ‘AND’, ‘and’ and ‘&’ can be used. Both of ‘clone and culture’ and
‘clone & culture’ have the same meaning as ‘clone culture.’
OR function

Priority order of conditions
It is impossible to set the priority order of conditions. ‘OR’ is always prioritized. When [ “degrading enzyme”
protein (katakana) OR protein (kanji character) ] is imputed, the data including [ “degrading enzyme” ] and
additionally including ‘protein (katakana)’ or ‘protein (kanji character)’ are searched.
Exclusion
The data that do not include a specified word are searched. This condition cannot be used alone, but can be used
under multiple conditions. When [ structure -“protein structure” ] is inputted, the data that contain ‘structure’
and do not contain [ “protein structure” ] are searched.
