PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidification method of ceramic and a ceramic solidified body, wherein high-temperature firing is not required, solidification control is easy, mechanical strength and dimension precision are excellent, appearance is good, energy consumption upon the manufacturing is reduced and a wide range of resources is used as raw materials, and to provide an activated ceramic powder which can be used for the ceramic solidified body.
SOLUTION: The solidification method of ceramic comprises: a grinding process of grinding ceramic of which at least the surface is made of silicic acid and/or silicate and, thereby, producing activated ceramic powder of which the surface is mechano-chemically made to be amorphous; and an alkali treatment process of treating the activated ceramic powder thus obtained, with an alkaline aqueous solution containing alkali metal hydroxide and/or alkaline earth metal hydroxide and, thereby, dissolving and re-precipitating the surface of the activated ceramic powder to obtain the ceramic solidified body.
