PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform automatic follow-up running of a towed vehicle (slave vehicle) such as a trolley or the like while keeping the positional relation with a tractor such as a harvester (master vehicle) or the like constant during harvesting work and makes the vehicle, which travels by itself by its mobile function when taking out harvests, perform automatic follow-up running highly accurately by a simple system.
SOLUTION: A follow-up control towing rod B comprises a master vehicle side end section connected to the master vehicle M and a slave vehicle side end section mounted on a slave vehicle S such that it can be expanded and contracted in a limited specified range and rolled on a horizontal face. The slave vehicle S is constituted so as as to perform automatic follow-up running while keeping a position relation with the master vehicle M constant by performing speed change control according to the expansion and contraction quantity of the follow-up control towing rod B and steering control according to the rolling angle on the horizontal face.
