PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flight control device for a parafoil, which is configured to control to pivot one of two risers by pulling one of control lines and to prevent the one of control lines from directly receiving impact load when deploying the parafoil, thereby stably activating an actuator.
SOLUTION: The flight control device for the parafoil is configured to receive the impact load W by one of the risers 3 provided to the parafoil 1 when deploying the parafoil 1. The control line 4 is attached to the middle of the riser 3 to prevent the control line 4 in a slack condition from entangling by a spring 10, while preventing the control line 4 from directly receiving the impact load W. The control lines 4 are alternatively winded or released by the actuator 7 to pull or release one of the risers 3 by the corresponding control line 4, thereby changing an angle of a wing surface 2 of the parafoil 1. In the result, a flight object 5 can be flight-controlled.
