PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided chemically strengthened glass having a high compressive stress and to provide, for realizing this goal, a manufacturing method of a double-sided chemically strengthened glass capable of significantly improving productivity through a low-temperature, high-speed treatment process by using an electric field impression ion exchange method.
SOLUTION: Two specified steps are used on an occasion for executing an electric field impression ion exchange by contacting a sodium- and/or lithium-containing glass between potassium-retaining solid electrolytes so as to substitute, with potassium ions having large ion radii, sodium ions or lithium ions of the sodium- and/or lithium-containing glass surfaces and then forming compressive stress layers on both glass surfaces so as to perform a double-sided chemical strengthening treatment.
