PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chaos coding modulation method wherein a comparatively good modulus property of a transmission error is acquired even in low received signal quality, sequential decoding is possible, furthermore, a communication signal series is approximate to noise, and confidentiality is superior in which the content of communication cannot be decoded easily by third parties.
SOLUTION: A transmitter is provided with a chaos transmission signal series formation step wherein a transmission information bit series is inputted into a chaos formation apparatus, and a coding signal series is formed and transmitted as a chaos transmission signal series of a coding modulation system to a recipient. The recipient is provided with a presumed transmission series formation step which forms a presumed transmission series, the presumed transmission signal series formation step which forms the presumed transmission signal series by considering the presumed transmission series as an input by using the same processing with the processing of the chaos transmission signal series formation step of the transmitter, and a decoding step which calculates deviation between the received signal series which has been received from the transmitter and the presumed transmission signal series, and outputs the presumed transmission series which gives the minimum deviation as the decoding result of the received signal series.
