PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid analyzing method which enables the easy analysis of normal line stress difference even with respect to a low viscosity fluid in addition to a high viscosity fluid, and a fluid analyzer.
SOLUTION: A shearing flow is applied to a non-Newtonian fluid 9 in the a side surface gap G by pushing a columnar bob 2 in a container 6 and then, the reaction force F received by the columnar bob 2 is measured and operational processing is executed according to a predetermined formula using the reaction force F and respective conditions input by a user to certainly calculate normal line stress difference even with respect to the non-Newtonian fluid 9 of low viscosity hardly formed into a solid shape. As a result, the analysis of the normal line stress difference can be easily performed even with respect to the non-Newtonian fluid 9 of low viscosity in addition to a non-Newtonian fluid of high viscosity.
