PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling-stock-car vibrating system, capable of capable of quantitatively and easily evaluating vertical vibration characteristics and ride quality of rolling stock cars, when traveling in addition to natural vibration mode characteristics of rolling stock cars.
SOLUTION: The rolling-stock-car vibrating system 10 vibrates a whole rolling stock car V by vibrating axle boxes 4 of the rolling stock car V. With wheels 3a elastically supported over rails R1 by a wheel support device 11, the rolling-stock-car vibrating system 10 vibrates the axle boxes 4 of trucks 2 by a vibrating device 12, measures the vibrations of the rolling stock car V by a vibration measuring device 13, and analyzes the state of the rolling stock car V by an analyzing device 14. The wheel support device 11 prevents the propagation of vibrations between the rails R1 and the wheels 3a, when the axil boxes 4 are vibrated by the vibrating device 12. The analysis device 14 analyzes the transfer function from axle-box acceleration to car-body acceleration, on the basis of axle-box acceleration and car-body acceleration measured by the vibration measuring device 13, when the axile boxes 4 are vibrated by the vibrating device 12, identifies natural vibration mode characteristics of the car body 1, and evaluates quality of riding.
