PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a reinforced concrete member in which the strength of a pile head joining part is equal to or higher than that of a conventional system member and capable of reducing construction cost and a joining method for the reinforced concrete member.
SOLUTION: In this joining structure, a cast-in-place RC pile 1 is joined to a footing 2. The outside diameter D1 of a first joining part 11 which is the portion of the cast-in-place RC pile 1 joined to the footing 2 is made smaller than the outside diameter D2 of a first general part 12 which is the other portions. Also, small diameter part band reinforcements 18 are disposed so as to surround the periphery of a plurality of fixing first main reinforcements 16 in the first joining part 11, be positioned roughly perpendicular to the direction of the first main reinforcements, and so that the amount of the reinforcements is larger than that of the first general part band reinforcements 17 of RC piles. Thus, the strength and deformation performance of the reinforced concrete near the first joining part 11 can be increased more than before, and the cross sectional area of the first joining part 11 can be reduced less than the cross sectional area of the first general part 12 to reduce the construction cost.
