PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease filling structure, and bearing lids, by which a life of a bearing can be elongated by effectively utilizing the grease stored in a filling chamber.
SOLUTION: An annular filling chamber 12d is formed along the space between the outer race and the inner race of the bearing. An outer filling chamber 12e is extensively formed at the outside of the annular filling chamber 12d. The outer filling chamber 12e is formed along the annular filling chamber 12d and is connected to the annular filling chamber 12d over almost the whole periphery of the annular filling chamber 12d except the parts where supporting parts 12f are formed. Consequently, the contact area of the outer filling chamber 12e and the annular filling chamber 12d increases, and the movement of the base oil of the grease is promoted and the total amount of the grease existing within a filling chamber 12a can be effectively used. As a result, the lubricating durability can be elongated and also the maintenance work, etc. can be reduced because of the elongation of grease changing time.
